GEORGETOWN, Del. -- The Delmarva Flock Supervisors' Association is accepting applications for its 2008 scholarship. At least one scholarship in the amount of $1,500 to $4,000 will be awarded.
Applicants must be enrolled as a student in good standing at an accredited two-year or four-year institution in the U.S. and must have an academic major in or a major interest in poultry.
Preference will be given to applicants whose parents or family business are Delmarva Poultry Industry Inc. members and to individuals planning a career in Delmarva's poultry industry.
Applications must be completed and received by June 30 at the following address: DFSA Scholarship, 16686 County Seat Hwy., Georgetown, De. 199497-4881.
